Vision of himself hanging in meat locker with meat hook going through his chest, bloody, fear, less than 10 seconds long

Trapped in freezer fridge, swinging meat hook clips his arm, bloody arm, arm bandage, lying on floor holding arm

Thrown across room by ghost, vision of his own dead body

Fire extinguisher thrown at him, falls to floor

Tunnel roof caves in and separates him from Nancy and grant (no harm), emotional about grant, kidnapped, held hostage, hands tied behind back, tied to railing of balcony/slightly hanging off, used as bargaining chip, noises! (Kidnapped scene lasts for about 7 minutes)

Faints, possessed by georges great aunt, tears , emotional for about a minute

Attacked by bess, swordfight

Piece of ice gets into his eye, trips over bucket (not shown), almost gets hit by falling fish hook, ice pack on eye (less than 5 minutes)

Possessed by ghost, heavy breathing, dizzy , fever, seeing things, confused, needs to be supported to stand, holding head, noises! , all lasts about 15 minutes of episode

Season 3 episode 4 - 🔥

Sleep walks into street almost hit by car, almost drives into incoming car, too dangerous to fall asleep trope, dream about beating up someone, guilt, fear, forced to cut someones arm in dream, his own arm gets cut while asleep as a result of the dream, Bess bandages his arm, gets caught in fishing net on beach with the rest of the crew, guilt about helping Mr bobbsey

Emotional, kicked out of house by father

Season 3 Episode 9 -

Objects thrown at him, hit in face with a wrench, unconscious

Season 3 episode 10 -🔥

Stuck in Liminal Space, weakened by trying to communicate with Nancy, invisible trope

(season 3 episode 12- wakes up from nightmare, at very end of episode only lasts about 20 seconds)

Another woman's soul is inside him, thrown across room by magic defense mechanism, car crash, thrown from car, bloody, unconscious, character death, later death threat that he doesn't know about

SEASON 4 ✨

Season 4 episode 1 - arrested (cuffs are put on him, only lasts about one minute, is not seen for rest of episode)

Season 4 episode 2 - 🔥attacked by Nancy (lasts about 30ish seconds) , emotional about The Curse that is separating him and Nancy

Season 4 episode 3 - slightly burned by Nancy painting sigil on his chest (barely any flinching, lasts about 3 seconds) , panics and yells when Nancy faints, emotional, almost crying (lasts less than 10 min)

Season 4 episode 5 - more emotional scenes (nothing intense, no crying)

Season 4 episode 6 - fought giant spider, gets hit (is fine), bit by ferret

Season 4 episode 7 - fought board game monsters come to life, passed out because of board game (unconscious for about 7ish minutes), Nancy finds bite marks on his hand

Season 4 episode 8 - rendered unconscious twice because of magical object,🔥BODY SWAP EPISODE (is in Nancy's body for most of episode)

Season 4 episode 9 - scared by lights flickering and loud noises from ghost in morgue

Season 4 episode 10 - scared by by ghost in morgue (jumps and yells), has to make himself physically cold in order to speak to ghost, almost hit by tree branch (saved by ghost)

Season 4 episode 12 - 🔥memory of fire while fishing on boat, tried to save trapped woman, has to save his father instead, guilt about leaving woman to die, emotional, angry at Nancy for erasing his memory

Season 4 episode 13 - knocked himself out (a couple times) in order to go into Nancy and Tristans mind meld and help them navigate, emotional about Nancy and his relationship, goes through blue flames to help pull Nancy out of mind scape, (happy ending at end of episode)

ND Whump

So I'm just gonna kind of... put this here, but I wanted to talk about whump involving neurodivergent characters because I don't see much of it but I'm not sure if that's because it's not popular, or not considered kosher by a lot of people, because it would seem like punching down.

Things like sensory overload, meltdowns, shutdowns, RSD spirals, are all unpleasant and painful and scary. They're traumatic. They benefit from rescue and comfort. But most people who suffer from them are ND--that is, they're wired a little different. Like me. Hi! I'm neurodivergent. I'm ADHD and autistic. And I can't find whump about the stuff that, usually, I write whump about in my head, in that pointless-endless-mental-fanfic way.

I just don't post it. 'Cause the last thing I'd want to do is upset somebody else, if indeed that's why there's just not that much out there in terms of ND whumpees and their unique ability to be whumped with a buzzy fluorescent light or a stern look. If I'm anything to go by.

Anyway, that's my shouting into the void for the night. If you tagged me or sent an ask, it's on my list to respond, promise! Life is just super busy as of late. 💙
