I've had a few more replies to my Windrunner post so for convenience my responses are all here :)

blehnifty answered: I would hold out on focus fire until your team is pushing towers and you have more mana (i.e. leveling it at 10,11 and 16)

Yeah a lot of people have said the same. Right now I've got it written down to level at 11, 16 and 17, and get some stats in between but if it's a good idea I'll bring it forward a little!

alpha-star answered: Save the ultimate until level 14ish since everything else should be maxed out. For items, Force Staff/Mek are great and also consider Orchid

Ah if nothing else it's good to know I've gotten the items right! Although I do always make sure no-one else wants to get Mek before I start- then again I usually need not worry. As for the Ultimate, I'll maybe see how things play out in game and how soon we start to push. Generally it seems anywhere between 11-16 is good.

nd-yag answered: WR is an excellent example of a perfect Utility hero. She fits into any role other than a 5th perfectly. Don't buy wards- that's a fuckup

I agree with the multi-roles... The last game I played I was told by my friends to give it a go going solo in the offlane... And I did surprisingly well all things considered? I do however still buy wards if I'm playing her as a support role and no-one else is warding.

Yes! In the past one or two games I've really gotten to love Phase Boots! Same comment as about on Focus Fire though-- I'll play it by ear based on what the team wants/needs.
