What is the name of the turkey soup

I dunno what it’s called in tagalog but it’s similar to this recipe but the only veggies I use are onions, celery, and cabbage, and I saute the macaroni with the veggies before adding any liquid (I usually make my own turkey stock for this instead of just plain water, and I add the milk after it’s been boiling for a while, like 5 minutes before serving). It’d probably be delicious using veggie stock and a bunch of other vegetables since I know you don’t eat meat but this is the way my mom taught me. ^^

Hallo! Happy belated BTTF day! In other news, I'm turning 21 and I would like to know what drinks you recommend

okay so I think I ams ober enought for this (...probably not but idgaf)

I really like dark beers but beer is something that takes time to get into, like black coffee. a good light beer I like is Blue Moon because it’s delicious and goes well with pretty much any meal.

I don’t know a whole lot about wines yet, but I prefer whites and roses over reds. I like moscatos and riesling, those are lighter and fruitier and go good with like chicken or dessert. chianti is my go-to red wine, I think merlot tastes like ass.

as far as mixed drinks go, I don’t like anything that tastes like cherry usually, but your milage may vary. whiskey is great, it’s got a smoky burn I really enjoy. usually do a whiskey sour or on the rocks if I’m doing whiskey, sometimes an irish coffee. whiskey and coke is also a good option.

I don’t do vodka when we go out a lot, but basically vodka tastes good with anything citrus, so if you’re mixing at a house party or something it’s good to keep that in mind. a screwdriver is a good start for vodka, it’s just vodka and orange juice. also recommend blueberry vodka and lemonade. green apple vodka is good with cranberry juice. whipped cream vodka is amazing with orange soda. the world is your citrus and vodka oyster. (white russians are also a thing, with vodka, milk, and kahlua. I’m more partial to citrus though.)

rum is great, it’s in all those fruity drinks that everyone makes fun of girls for getting but they have SO much liquor in them so you get Fucked Up. best to pace yourself with those. blue hawaiians and blue lagoons are good, as well as mai tais, fuzzy navels, pina coladas, and daquiris. also your standard rum and coke is always a good bet.

Gin is my lady. it tastes like pine trees but I dig it. I usually just do a Gin and Tonic but it’s not for everyone. a Tom Collins is good, it has gin and sour mix so the pine is a bit more tempered.

I try to stay away from tequila because reasons, but one drink that I would recommend that you try (BUT PLEASE PACE YOURSELF OH MY GOD) is a Grateful Dead. it tastes like pink lemonade and it’s literally straight booze (tequila, vodka, rum, gin, and raspberry liqueur, with a bit of sour mix). I usually have one of those and I’m done for the night, at least at the bar. margaritas are always fun as well, but me and tequila don’t usually do well together.

also baileys! baileys is so good. if you ever have some chocolate ice cream laying around, stick that shit in a blender with some baileys. delicious. also recommended in hot chocolate and coffee. just don’t mix it with citrus cuz it’s cream.

hopefully that gives you some ideas! what I recommend is just slowly trying things. if you’re out, ask your friends or the bartender what they recommend or like. search cocktails online (actually yeah, google the stuff I said and see if you would be into them) or flip through one of those books at a bookstore. it’s pretty much trial and error and figuring out what you do and don’t like, and what you can or can’t handle. please remember to just pace yourself and drink plenty of water and don’t drink on an empty stomach. happy boozing!

it's just like

there's a lot of heart and good intention behind the whole idea but at the same time

it's stealing the spotlight from black people and that's not something I want to be involved in.
