I FINALLY FINISHED WRITING THE DAMN PHD!!!! 

Ok, I still have stuff to do for it, sure, but it felt soooooo good to finally have a free day for myself (weekends? holidays? Is that edible!?) *cries happy tears*

So here’s a pic I did for SyriuslySoft as part of a trade, featuring their Nebular Nomad OC. Although I originally started having only a WIP as reference, so some artistic liberties were applied ^^;

No shading was used, as in no special layer filters, just plain old gradients brushed in. Super relaxing challenge to get some of the rust off

No promises when my next art is going to be. Still need to figure out my schedule now that thing is out of the way. But I’ll try to have something posted soon

The picture features my Nebular Nomad Cailean.

I recently started to try and paint bigger scenes with actual detailed backgrounds. While I have done plants, foliage and flowers before, this is the first time I incorporated all of those into a whole scene.

I also challenged myself to keep the watercolour feeling of the background during the rendering process and not paint over everything xD Although it didn’t quite came out the way I hoped, I am still pretty satisfied with the result. \ =v= /

My Zedas and Zombiegarou’s Nioh got overrun by a group of tigers. Poor boy is still trying to figure out what the heck happened. This was a new year’s piece for the Nebular Nomad art group.
