[questions that nebularninja asked:]
Who is your favorite actor/actress and why?
This is so hard. I have so many people I love and adore and think are extremely talented, but if I had to choose just one... I have to go with Johnny Depp. That man is one of the most incredibly talented actors in our generation. He can take any role and make it his own. I love that he takes risks and tries different things and is true to what he wants.
What are you most proud of?
Another hard one, I don't know. I guess most recently, I started writing a novel in January. I am one chapter from being finished. I hope to see it published one day, but even if it doesn't happen I still have spent 8 months non stop writing a novel. And by definition I am a novelist, even if an unpublished one.
What is your biggest long-term goal?
Marry my celebrity crush? I guess mostly, I just want a happy, successful life. I want to find a job I love and that makes me happy. SO finding that, is both my long term and short term goal.
What is the strangest name you’ve ever heard?
Name for a person? I know there are people who name there kid like a bunch of letters that don't actually spell an audible word, but because I can't make a sound of them I remember them as rawjjrwklgahkel which is jibberish. ha.
If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?
So many tough questions! At the moment I would have to say that I would love to be Rose Tyler (Doctor Who). She has become one of my all time favorite female television characters. She's smart, she's strong, she's passionate and she has this wonderful lifebut her life shows that with the good there can be equal amounts of heart break and bad times. Yet, she doesn't let them ruin her, she becomes stronger and better for it, and that's inspiring to me. I wish I could be half as strong as she is. Plus, who doesn't want to travel with the doctor and marry his meta crisis? (But mostly, what I said earlier, Rose Tyler is strong and inspiring, I could only hope to be half as brave as she is in life)
Would you like to know the day you’re going to die ahead of time? Why or why not?
Yes. I'm kind of OCD and the kind of person who likes to know what is happening, what will happen. I love planning, and I think just knowing when I would die, would help me live in less fear of unknown things. I hate making long term plans because noone knows whats going to happen, and I am just one of those people who constantly over thinks things and works out 100 scenarios instead of just going about life taking it for what it is and just enjoying what happened, not what could have or what didn't happen.
Name your idol. What would you say if you had the chance to speak to him/her?
I don't think I have an idol. I have a handful of people who I look up to and are inspired by, but I don't think there is just one. Obviously Johnny Depp, I think he is fantastic and I would just love to sit down and talk to him about anything.
JJ Abrams, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse the main three creative forces behind Lost, would be a dream to meet. That show important to me, and so brilliant that just to talk to them about it and their process creating it and just everything, anything about it would be incredible. I'm in awe of them and the work they've done. I'd love to ask JJ about Fringe and him and Damon about Star Trek as well. So many great projects!
If you had one chance to travel through time, where would you go?
I really want to go to the future just to see what it would be like, see how technology advances, how life advances, ect. I just think that would be such a great and mind expanding experience.
But if I could go to the past, there is only one time I'd want to go and that is to meet Vincent Van Gogh. I am in awe of this man and his work. His work is so beautiful and has inspired much of my art career that to meet him would mean so much to me.
In the case of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice?
The Tardis. I don't consider it a weapon technically but others do and it could take me away from the zombies. Its roomy so I'd never get bored or claustrophobic living there. It'd be very useful as an escape from zombies.
Rank the colors of the rainbow from best to worst and explain why.
Blue: because it is my favorite color. It's beautiful and calming
Indigo: It's the closest to blue and therefor the above reasoning stands true
Violet: It is half blue, so the above still stands true, but also I like various derivations of violet such as lavender and lilac. I think Purple/Violet is such a gorgeous color. It's regal and bold while also being simplistic and quiet
Green: It is the last of the "cool" colors in the rainbow and is also half blue. It depends on the shade of green though, because green has the potential to be the worst, especially when it is more yellow or brown and it looks pukey. But some greens closer to blue like teal are stunning. True green an be nice, but I live in the middle of the woods so I see green all the time in nature, and I get sick of it at times. Right now everything out my window is green.
Red: it's the other half of purple. ha. I used to hate red, but I've realized I only hate bright, fire engine red. It's too... red and vibrant and alarming and makes my head hurt. but deep red, like a blood red can b e really elegant and works well for a lot of different things. I love Red and Black together. That combination is so classy imo.
Yellow: I like pale yellows, regular yellow I'm indifferent too, and bright or florescent yellows annoy me.
Orange: I mostly hate the color orange. It just doesn't do anything for me. And I hate Orange and Blue together (Sorry Mets fans) I think it is my least favorite color combination ever, which is unfortunate because they were my college colors and I hated every time I looked at the logo or any of the signage.
no one because my schedule this week is completely hectic and I wouldn't know when I'd have time to read what anyone who would reply would say. And I'd feel bad if people actually played along and I missed their replies. But if any of my followers want to reblog this with their own responses to the great questions that nebularninja asked that would be cool.
