It was the fourth night. They usually died before then. This very fact somehow made Toy Freddy hate the night guard even more. Guards who made it to the fourth night usually made it to the fifth night, and sometimes came back for another round. Either way, they got away in the end. He hated it when they got away.
The mechanical bear lightly tapped on the walls of the main hall, plastic eyes focused on what he could see of the office. He glanced briefly to his right to see the older Foxy’s jaws snap shut as a low hiss escaped from his voicebox. The fox had a flashlight shined in his face, that was for sure. The hissing stopped as the withered animatronic retreated, and Toy Freddy was allowed full access to the office. Given the chance, the animatronic eagerly took it, and then started to walk down the hallway.
Guards could never last forever, and when twelve struck, Toy Freddy had decided that this would be the guard’s final night.
He drew closer and closer to the office, his jaw dropping as he did so, his eyes slowly starting to roll back into his head. A few more steps and he was inside, shiny black eyes staring at the man before him.
“Ahuh-huh...” He knew it would give him away, but this was always the fun part! Why not have a laugh or two while he was at it?

“Ah!” She piped up, a bright and relieved smile on her face as she looked down at the striped creature. “You’re awake! Thank goodness, I was afraid I was dragging a dead carcass into my home...” she trailed off, her smile turning to a sheepish one, her shoulders bouncing in a shrug with the string of bandage in her hand.
