I started having really bad neck pain in March of last year, it was pretty bad initially, but I changed my pillow and started monitoring it and it calmed down.
That being said, I would have good and bad days, but recently I have started having what feels like a migraine about once every two - three weeks... I am currently having one right now.
I actually started having migraines and other allergy related symptons for a bit before I started getting allergy treatments, but those eased off and now that they are coming back I think they have something to do with my neck.
But I honestly don't know where to start in getting it looked at. I don't have a primary care physician and I honestly don't know where to go to get something like this looked at.
Online advice is super generic and just says see a doctor, but I get anxiety just thinking about a) looking up a doctor that supposedly takes my insurance and b) how much it is going to cost.
And I could probably see a chiropractor, but, I am going to be honest, and I am sorry if this offends anyone, but I am somewhat afraid of chiropractors. I personally knew someone who saw a chiropractor on a regular basis and they suffered from a pretty debilitating stroke that his doctors attributed to his regular chiropractic work (something about a bone fragment got into his blood stream and caused it).
I just don't know what to do... These migraines suck and I hate having to work and getting so irritated when I am having one.
