Skeletons
Skeletons the second lowest form of undead right after zombies, in fact many mistakenly believe that skeletons are nothing more than zombies without the soft parts, which is far from the true. There are in fact some very important diffences between a zombie and a skeleton other than the lack of flesh, first being that skeletons are smarter then zombies. Now don’t get wrong skeletons are normally just as soulless but they aren’t as mindless, they have in fact a form programing that allows them to use simple tools and weapons, skill enough enough necromancers can even make their skeletons smart to fix and clean things. The second is that skeletons can fall or take themselves apart and pull themselves back together which is something zombies can’t do. Third we have the fact that the spell that animates skeletons makes so they last longer than zombies, true they can’t “eat” to regain manna if they need too but they rarely do. Combine this with the fact that skeletons are just as customization as zombies and you can see why skeletons are view as step above them. However, there are a few issues that keep them from replacing zombies, the first being that skeletons can only be made from creatures that have well skeletons. Second being that the spell that makes skeletons is not only a little harder to learn but it is more horrifity to see a skeleton pull itself free of its flesh then to see a corpse start to move, serious the first time I saw it I couldn’t stop throwing up, so not too many people want to see this. Thirdly there the fact that strangely zombies are scarier then skeletons, I’m not really sure why but this is something everyone seems to agree with.
