i love when i listen to something and think “this is exactly what i’m about.”

Zemial is exactly what i’m about, and none more so than on the 1997 EP Necrolatry. 17 minutes of thrashy black metal that oohs and ughs its way to pure nirvana. catchy riffs abound, with a distinct Celtic Frost influence. Zemial plays the kind of black metal that would be further refined by the likes of Armagedda and Antaeus (their more recent is p different from this earlier material).

it’s streaming on bandcamp, so listen to it and break your idiot neck, move those hips, and clap them hands.

come to think of it, Belgium's Possession is a good comparison. they're awesome, and so is Zemial
