Fae convulsed, sobbing. The pain was in her, tearing it's way through her soul, and she knew at once what was to come. She knew at once how she would wake, tears falling freely and the feeling of the saturated darkness crawling over her skin lingering... It always did... Her eyesight faded into darkness, and the vision came, though it was more of a nightmare... Or, more accurately, a foretelling. A woven story of underlying truths.                                  'Blackness... So much of it... Pain... More of it still... She was back in chains... They held her down... They cut her... They burnt her... But they were so cold... How can ice burn? She could feel her host, her body, quivering in fear... But it was too cold to move... Too dark... Dark... The darkness was closing in. She needed to run. But it was too dark to move. The chains were cutting her, making her bleed. She needed to be rid of them. But it was too dark to move. She could hear the things that shrieked and screamed and clawed and tore, she could hear them coming. She knew she needed to run, far away where they could not get her... But it was too dark to move.
