see I thought it played off the whole meta approach to typical slasher themes in the same way that scream did, and I liked that it was a totally different story and mask so that it didn’t feel like a rip off of scream. I enjoyed it!
I totally agree with you on enjoying that they went with a different story and mask. Mostly because I know I’d be one of those horribly annoying fans who would never be satisfied with anything they produced.
