A Helping Hand: She is passionate about creating artificial limbs for those who may have lost them in battle or to injury. She makes prosthetics that are a beautiful joining of engineering and magic, and can be as intricate or as normal looking as one desires. 

We're Golden: Nedria is very approachable and can deal with folks from all walks of life and backgrounds. She has no preference for politics and does not see Horde or Alliance when making friends or acquaintances. Just people, often in need of an ear or a piece of candy. Does she carry candy with her? Most of the time. If not, she'll steal some for you.

FFAF - What inspired the creation of your lovely character?

Yeven/Nedria was originally supposed to have been my villain and rival to Lukel! And she WAS a baddie for a very long time. I've played them together and interwoven into each other's storylines since I created Lukel 19-ish years ago. I wanted someone opposite him, so outwardly a character who looked good and kind and lovely and who was internally his polar opposite - cruel, uncaring, self indulgent and downright wicked.

Over the years, as their story lines progressed, Yeven became more than I ever intended her to be and organically transformed from the villain to the recovering villain to the half-friend to the real friend of Lukel (and many others)! She still certainly still has her sharp sides, but she has the understanding now that she never did then. And she tries - and that's important!

Oc Asks: Do they empathize with non-sentient things (dolls, plants, books…)?

Oh, she absolutely does! Plants, rocks, machinery - she talks to them like they can hear her or respond back and she's always been this way. She is especially fond of talking to anything made of metal or with inherent circuitry, which includes weaponry, armor, goblin engineered bobbles, motorcycles - she feels some kind of strange companionship with them and is always respectful. Sometimes she isn't more compassionate to machinery than people...

FFAF - Where (or when) is your most favorite place to be?

"I love the ocean so much. I love being near it and smelling it and going into it. It's big - bigger than me - and it feels like home, almost. I can just be when I am swimming in the sea. I don't have to explain myself, or ask for permission to exist the way I do. It just holds me. It's been here from the beginning and it's like...being with a very old friend. We don't have to speak, it just knows me and I know it and we are content to just be with one another."

FFaF: So.... there is this event being put on next Friday. Would you like to come see people playing with fire?

Nedria's eyes went a little wide. Oh, but did she love fire. And explosives. Mostly explosives but ALSO fire. She couldn't help it, things that went BOOM and or burned had always been near and dear to her heart.

"I mean...what's not to love about people playing with fire, really? I could probably check it out...just for like...science and stuff." It would not be for science, it would be for the pure joy of watching things burn.
