For the fic recommendations, there's this one called Darkened Stars on AO3. It's an apocalypse AU that's got 10k+ words so far and it focuses mainly on Keith/lance. There's supposed to be really light shklance but its in the tags that it's mainly keith/lance. And it's told from Lance's POV (All of age so no worries if that's something you're against.)
