Itachi was in a particularly good mood. He’s been able to do a bit of cleaning for the new year and all. Now he was just sitting around, enjoying the ambiance. This new year was starting off so calming and he liked it.

          “i’m going to need to head to the world of the living at some point..” he was running out of the red liner for his wings, and there was a place in the world of the living that had the perfect product for him. it went on smoothly and was the best shade of red he could ask for.

“Hm?” Feeling the slight tug on his cloak, his head turns as he gazes at the blue haired girl. He gave a curious hum, before a tiny, patient smile formed upon his face. “Is there something you needed from me?”

       “ But, he worries. ” And for good reason. While Kaoru wasn’t sure why Shuu was so against fire, they had a feeling that their fiancé had a fear of it. “ I don’t like making him worry. I mean, I appreciate you offering though. I’m just trying to be careful. ” What if he stepped outside and caught a glimpse of it? The idea of upsetting him... It made them sad.

The western lands were rich with so many opportunities for travelers, located within the imperial town were a number of merchant stands selling items from contraptions, jewelry and even food. Through the bustling street strolled the legendary Sinbad, granted he remained ‘disguised’ in order to traverse safely without alerting the royal authorities. Sinbad, was on the hunt for a little job of his own, he was in search for a person with great magical capabilities to aid a much smaller village, time will tell of what’s in store for him.

Nothing else seemed to be happening in town that night. The streets were mostly vacated, save for the lights coming from apartments and houses. But an oddly-timed fairground had popped up near the city centre. The fledgling was too curious to not check out what activities were going on. Dunk tanks, amusement rides, and food stalls seemed packed even from the roadside. Had there been any advertisements for this fair? Or had the vampire been too caught up in his own little world to be aware of it. 

As he approached a female attendant flagged him down, dressed in a polo of similar gaudy colours to the nearby tents, “An adult pass for yourself?” A slight nod saw Alastor reflexively reach for his wallet and pay entry. He had nothing better to do. “It looks like ye’re really busy in here..” He’d start with checking out the Ferris Wheel hopefully to get a carriage to himself.

           “it’s hard to find perfect so late in the night.” after all, the night brings more hollows, so uryu could never get a good nights rest. he had to keep this town safe.
