sirenofthealley:
"What the… what are you doing in here, niña?” Isabel looked up to the girl with a surprised look in her eyes. Yes, she felt sick, but the fact that a little girl wandered into The Pink Pearl was more disturbing to her. “And no, I’m not afraid of needles.”
It wasn’t often that Louisa wandered off sans Mister Bubbles, but today he was just too slow. So, alone, she wandered her way into The Pink Pearl. The hallways were softly lit with ornamental wall sconces, and a plush carpet covered the entirety of the floor. Most importantly, the hallways were barren; not a soul was to be found until the little girl entered one of the rooms.
Inside the lavish room was a sole woman, and Louisa immediately hid her syringe behind her back out of a childish politeness. She never meant to surprise the woman, that was an accident. Regardless of the woman’s shocked look, Louisa smiled pleasantly.
“I’m not Niña,” she quipped with a small giggle. Clearly, she misunderstood the woman’s meaning. “I’m Louisa.”
At the confirmation of the woman not being afraid of needles, Louisa allowed her arm to relax and reveal her gathering tool once more. Since she had left Mr. B behind, maybe this new person could help her.
“There’s an angel here. Can’t you smell him?” she asked, excitement lacing her voice. Never before had she gathered in this building before. What fun!
