As some of you will recall, I didn’t leave the #military on the best of circumstances (#drawdownbullshit). Six months later, I requested a #discharge upgrade from general to honorable so that I could access some of the benefits I had earned (#gibill) with an explanation of how I got #shafted by my #chainofcommand. On Saturday, I got a packet containing this, a letter explaining that the Army Review Board agreed that I got screwed, and copies of my amended #dd214. A year and a half later, I can finally move on from that part of my life. At least, as much as one can. #transitioning #veteran #needtheblanket #toprotect #fromthebullshit (at Vancouver, Washington)
