this week has been full of epic lows for me. i’ve been trying so hard to cheer myself up, but no matter what, i just can’t seem to get through one single day without bursting into tears. i want to be with my parents.

Say what you will about their unorthodox married life, but Goku’s line about how Chi-Chi understands him better than anyone is peak romance. Goku is absolutely fond of his wife.

rinshi headcanon:
once they get older and settle down together, they actually go into business together. rin, whose dream it was to become someone respectable, opens up a cafe in conjunction with the futsumaya shop with shiemi, since she declared that she’d be taking over the store. they (and by they, it’s obviously just rin) cook homemade meals served with home brewed teas and sell flowers, charms, trinkets, and the occasional hair accessory (which are all covert exorcist items for regular people), on top of it also being an exorcism shop. so the shop can be accessed by ordinary people too and not just exorcists.
to put it in context: you need a special key to even reach the futsumaya shop. rin’s kamikakushi key takes him directly there, when he needs to be there. shiemi has her own key to get to and fro too. so, on the outside, to a regular civilian, it’s a homey cafe with sporadic hours and sometimes weird people, but really, it’s an exorcist shop. so, they can serve people a hot meal and listen to their problems about otherworldly affairs, etc. and exorcise demons during the night.
