                      Pain radiates everywhere. Physical, mental, something deeper, Ryou aches with it. But the ache is something, it tells him he’s alive. That whatever the Spirit is doing, he’s not done yet, hasn’t actually broken his weak little host. Ryou is trapped in darkness and in pain and can’t find which way is up to even think about prying control from the Spirit. It hurts, everything hurts, and if he could just make it stop for a minute maybe he could think. “ My turn, ” was the last thing the Spirit had said to him before trapping him in his own head, but whatever game he was playing at, Ryou’s turn seemed to be infinitely skipped. If he could just focus on something in the darkness— 

                      The pain starts to ebb. A solid wall broken into crashing waves. The pain remained, but it was different now, letting him catch his breath before each swell. Still trapped inside himself, he opens his eyes and catches the scarred gaze of a man above him. “ Who are you...? ”

2. Do you have any controversial headcanons that go against what is generally accepted by the fandom? Do you incorporate this into writing your muse or keep it to yourself?

// MMM, well, I remember when I was starting this blog out, the idea of Ryou being this sweet fluffy cinnamon roll was still here more often? Or it seemed like so at least. I’m not sure how popular it is now in the wide fandom, but I do feel like I write Ryou as a sharper person than fandom likes to portray him? idk

I think that he is not as pure and good as some make him. I think he is capable of being a nasty, unpleasant person if he needs to be. Like yes, he is kind and polite in his usual day to day approach, he wants to be a decent person, you know. But with people that he finds like... no good feelings towards anymore (like say they used him, broke his trust one time too many) he will grow cold, he just won’t bother...? Idk, i always get a little nervous talking about this but basically he gets petty and holds onto negativity way easier than he lets go of it and im not sure what fandom thinks of it but it doesn't seem like an usual take.

And yes, i definitely go with that headcanon while I roleplay Ryou. 

15. What plots/interactions leave you feeling protective of your muse?

// God this is hilarious, because like, when I interact with Yami Bakura, and especially with @ghostofthering​‘s Yami Bakura, i just end up laughing my ass off at Ryou’s misfortune, AND THEN I go like no wait this is terrible leave my boy aloney let him live he does not deserve this-- pfpff
