Guess what?

I CAN MAKE POSES AGAIN 🙌🏼🙌🏼✨

Not sure how I did it, but it took (re/un)installing different versions of Blender until I found thee one that allowed me to edit my old blend files (both released and unreleased poses)!!

Currently have version 2.79 installed and edited this rose pose that I made about a year ago. When I have the time to work on poses again, I'll continue my projects... but I don't think I can release anything new this year :/

Unless I change my mind with a sudden burst of creative energy o_O

New Year, New Update 0.0

Happy New Year, as we're half-way through the first month of 2024~

One of my resolutions this year is to come back to making content with Sims, including storytelling on my Simsta and posemaking. Slowly working on that, reviewing notes I wrote in the past 2 years (while I was struggling with grad school, lol) and re-learning Blender - which I don't remember if I told y'all that I finally fixed my issues with the versions I was using!!

Speaking of grad school, I'm officially done with my studies!!! While I struggle to find post-grad employment (x-x), I will continue with streaming on my Twitch channel and making poses.

A bunch of plans for the year, but I want Sims to be part of them again!

Not gonna lie - I feel defeated as a content creator 😞

In addition to the Blender issue, my PC is acting up with game crashes and BSODs that are becoming constant now... Even after running diagnostics, scanning for malware & viruses, updating drivers - all of which tell me the computer is "normal" - I feel like I'm not able to go back to creating new content for poses or stories or streaming... even just playing the game for fun makes me nervous, if it starts lagging or taking up more of my computer's resources.

On top of that, I'm stressing out over my master's thesis and IRL stuff. Not sure if this is all a sign for me to go on an indefinite hiatus, which I don't want to do but may be forced to, under these circumstances...

I'm going to figure out what to do with my main PC issue - it could be upgrading the RAM, based on another app I use to check performance - then hopefully I can at least release something new before the end of the year.

So I updated to Blender (3.6) because the previous version I was using (2.76) wasn't showing any of the textures on rigs.

The new interface scares me and now I feel like giving up pose-making 🙃

Hey, another life update:

Soo, I'm almost finished with the semester - been busy preparing for my thesis, and now I am figuring out what my next steps are. (Theoretically, my actual thesis.)

BUT, there's been a lot going on... I won't go into too much detail because I am a Big Adult trying to handle my stuff like Big Adults do... (😭) Given all that, I'm taking hiatus on any Sims-related content. That means no new poses for a while - even tho that's how it's already been lately 😓 I just haven't found time to actually work on poses for public release because of school & IRL stuff...

I do have a list of posepacks that I want to work on, some of which I made for my stories but haven't fixed anything since then. Going to take this time to get my shit sorted before I jump back into Sims.

Here's a little preview of what I started working on that will hopefully be released later this year 💜

Another Life Update:

Close to the final stretch of this semester! Mygod, it's been exhausting 😪

Got big projects to tackle before I move on to my thesis semester - but happy to announce that I have completed ALL STORY POSTS for my Simsta story 🙌🏼

It's been a two-year journey that I can finally close out because I've been wanting to work on new stories! There will be a lull in posts - both here and IG - because school. But best believe I will continue doing behind-the-scenes Sims stuff, including poses... (Got a backlog to sort through, ughh)
