welcome to the entire history of the goddamn Internet & humanity in general, why the fuck do people still get surprised & write novel-length treatises about very specific trends like they only just discovered that Some People Are Bad
#I'm going to stop skimming notes on posts b/c recently it's pissed me off way more than it's led me to interesting posts#'no one can do this goofy trend anymore because it's associated with awful people & if we stop the trend we can stop the awful people!'#motherfucker the other day I saw someone post a vile misogynist comment on a post & I was surprised b/c their icon was Ice Bear#I checked their blog and it was a bizarre mood whiplash between W/e Ba/re Bea/rs & anti-S/JW posts#there is no clear-cut boundary of something too pure/calm/etc. that awful people won't interact with it#like I've been fucking blocking more child abuse ki/nk blogs this year b/c they interact with visual stim posts#and slime & stimboard posts became more of a trend this year#that doesn't ruin visual stim posts it's just fucking frustrating until the trend cools down#& they move onto another trend to publicly post upsetting & harmful content about#fucking block them#personal blog tag#negative = 7890
