Just me rambling about Spider-man 2002 ... some good some bad. idk
I'm re-watching the Sam Rami 2002 Spider-man A. for nostalgia and B. if I still feel, as I did when I was 6 that Peter and Harry are in love.
So far I have learned that A. I see exactly why my 6 year old self(now 23) loved this movie and B. I still feel like Harry and Peter aren't entirely platonic don't @ me.
but also a lot of this dialogue it's just awkward and doesn't make sense.
If the special effects and the full cast of grown ass adult high school students did not tip me off to this being a 2002 movie Peter saying to MJ that he's "just going to get a job and pay his way through college" would have confirmed that for me. 😂😂
OH MY GOD OCTAVIA SPENSER IS IN THIS I LOVE HER. She only has one scene ;-;
When I was 6 I didn't understand why "That's a nice outfit, did your husband buy it for you." was "funny", but now that I'm old enough to understand why it was supposed to be funny it is not funny. It's an old movie so I'm not going to yell about it now but it's amazing things that fly over your head when you're a kid.
