Getting the line of lavander (and kicking my shyness away to ask you)... Can i ask you about Kira's story too? I mean i saw your fun fact posts and i heard he was a deliquent... Besides that i barely know something about our cool brother Kira-kun.. Is there something that you can tell me about him? He is one of my favorites, and since i can't play the game i would love to hear about him (if it's not a bother) (/□＼*)・゜
Kira’s parents passed away when he was a kid. His relatives took him in afterwards, but he never got used to the living environment there, nor did he feel like he belonged. He completely went off the rails by the time he entered junior high. He wouldn’t return home for days, he would go out to play in the middle of the night, and he would constantly get into fights.
Shy had already joined the agency by then and was taking lessons with the aim of debuting. One night, Shy ran out of the agency because of an argument he had with Kadena-shachou. Kira was in the back alley of the streets at the time, and met Shy there. Shy asked him if he was hurt and if doing things like getting into fights was fun. Kira was really annoyed by this stranger for sticking his nose into his business, and told him to leave him alone, but he was also taken aback by his words because it had been a long time since someone paid attention to him.
Shy made his way back to the agency shortly afterwards, and Kira, out of curiosity, ended up secretly following him all the way there and then watching him practise his dancing from outside through the window. As he watched him, Kira started getting annoyed again because his dancing was terrible and all over the place. He eventually couldn’t stand to watch anymore and came in and showed himself while pointing out Shy’s mistakes and showing him how it was meant to be done. This resulted in a little argument before Kadena-shachou stepped in.
I’m not going to go into every single little detail about their conversation, but to sum it up, she saw great potential in him and invited him to come back the day after and join Shy in his lessons. Kira didn’t understand the meaning behind her words, but she assured him that he didn’t have to know right away. The answer will come to him eventually. Anyhow, both Shy & Kira were against the idea because they didn’t get along already, but fact of the matter was that Shy did acknowledge Kira’s abilities & Kira was yearning for a place to belong. Kadena-shachou insisted that it didn’t have to be tomorrow; Kira was welcome to drop by the agency at any time because she would be waiting. And that was what he did.
She eventually had them debut as LAGRANGE POINT. Even then, a part of him remained doubtful about being an idol because he still hadn’t found his purpose or meaning.
It wasn’t until he stood up on stage for the first time that he found the answer. Just like how he used to be alone and was abandoned by everyone but was then given hope, he figured that someone like him could also bring smiles and hope to people as well. He, along with Shy, decided that they would aim for the world. That they would make the legendary STARMATE their aim and become artists who captivate people from all over the world. Fun fact: Kadena-shachou was STARMATE’s Manager. (I think this is pretty obvious once you pick up the little clues that are also in the LOVE SAVIOR index.)
