|| Welcome Back ||

Touyo sighed as she sat in the empty library in Plasma Castle, large stacks of books towering on either side of her and even behind her on the couch she had her back pressed against at the moment as she flipped through yet another in the book she was currently reading. Today was one of those days that the castle was entirely empty as her coworkers went off to act as if they had normal lives and have fun, but for her, she could do nothing of the sort. After all, she had no friends and therefore would only cause more boredom upon herself by doing such a thing. The only thing she could do to occupy her time was to immerse herself in more stories, but unfortunately, even those had begun to grow a bit boring.

She needed something else, something more refreshing to catch her attention.

That's when the double doors to the library opened, instantly catching her attention and causing her to jerk her head up toward it as soon as it opened. Who she saw entering made her chestnut orbs grow wide in shock. That was--

"Lord N!" she shrieked, jumping up from her sitting position to where said person was, only to trip and fall on a pile of books halfway there and fall not too far in front of the green haired individual. Though, she ignored the pain, merely sitting up and staring at N with look of happiness and shock. "You're-- You're back! Welcome back!"

Touyo & N || Lacrene Library

"Read it." Touyo said with a sigh, setting the book she had in her hands onto the to of the tall stack of books sitting next to her on the large table she was currently sitting at, eyes going half lidded as she whipped her head over to the next book in another pile sitting next to her on the floor.

"Read this too." she continued, taking the book up in her hands, flipping througha  few pages and adding it to the pile as well. "Aaaaand read it three times, actually." Sweet mother of great Arceus above, this was absolutely terrible. Touyo had decided to come visit Lacrene Library in an attempt to read any new books pertaining to Unovan folklore here, but as of yet she hadn't seen a single new book. Lenora was the one who said she got new books, yet there was nothing here to entertain her... How boring.

"Lenora, you liar!" the brunette called out in a voice just above her normal one, flipping through another book carelessly. "You don't have any new ones! Whatever happened to 'having the best in Unova'?"

"Girl, you best be talking to another Lenora! You know I come on right over there and chokehold your pretty pale tail." Lenora's voice retorted from elsewhere in the library, her accent absolutely unmistakable. "One more snap at me, and you gon' get it!"

"That's never stopped you before." Touyo quipped with an amused smile, ignoring the woman's threat as she went onto the next book in the pile on the floor.
