Rant Alert!
Hey guys back in July I found a Dachshund mix puppy whom I was calling her by the name of "Anna" when her real name was "Angel" we will get to that in a bit. Well my mom, my grandmother, and I were returning home from grocery shoppimg this is roughly July 28th. My grandmother spotted Angel walking down the side walk all alone. So we decided to take her home with us to see if we can find the owners. I joined a Facebook group thats dedicated to helping lost and found dogs and cats find their owners and posted all about Angel. We even posted on the Nextdoor app. We walked and drove around with Angel to find her family. No luck. Fast forward to July 30th, Angel hand escaped through the garage of our home and ran across the street. My sister manage to grab Angel before this silver car could hit her. The silver car stops in front of our mail box. A young girl about highschool age gets out and askes to see Angel. She calls her by her name. Angel goes nuts and states whimpering in a sort of happy way. We handed her over realising this girl was her owner. Then the girl begins speaking spanish to her mother whom gets out of the car and we realize there is a language barrier between us. So I go grab my mom who speaks spanish and can help translate for us. So my mother tells them that we had gotten her rabies shots and tooken care of her flea issues but tells the owners to get her spayed. The owners say they will and leave thanking us for everything. I thought that was gonna be a happy ending boy was I wrong.
Fast forward to October 6th. My father returns home from work with a email from a vet saying they have our dog, my mothers mind clicks and realizes a vet called her earlier about this such event. My father gets in contact with the vet, vet says a man came in with her and gave my dad his number. My father calls the man, the man claims he brought Angel to the shelter. We thought that was it and she was ok at the shelter. Trust me shes a cute dog she be adopted in no time or her owners would go looking for her there.
Yesterday. A lady calls my dad saying she found Angel wandering the streets. How could that be? If the man said that she was in the shelter, except she was never at the shelter. The fucker just dumped her like some sort of gross mattress in a no dumping area. He better be careful I have his number I'll let him have it. Prick. Ok continuing. We tell the lady that we aren't the owners of Angel and we give her the rough estimate of where she might live. Keep in mind the owners never gave us their numbers or their exact address just the neighborhood. So we tell the lady descriptions of their car.
Today. I get a notification on NextDoor and Facebook about Angel. She still hasn't found her home atm. I give my input on this situation. At this point I have lost faith in her owners and all the pieces are starting to come together. ANGELS FAMILY DOESN'T GIVE A SHIT THAT SHES GONE. This is why, her owners know where we live. They could have gone to our house and ask if we have seen Angel. Her rabies tag is linked to us! We would know her whereabouts! 2nd point Angels owners neglect her by leaving her outside all the time. This case in point when we picked up Angel she was infested with fleas. Her owners claim she had gotten out on July 28th the day we found her. How could a dog become that infested with fleas that quickly? Even this lady whom found her now says shes infested. We treated her fleas yet she still infested. That proves it! Her owners are neglectful pricks who dont give a flying shit about her! I wish I would have saw this this before!
Anyways I do hope Angel goes to a better home she deserves it. Shes adorable, and so playful. But she needs to go to a home that doesn't have other animals. She doesn't do well with other dogs or cats. Believe me I know. Here's a picture of her.
