What do you call malls?? - a confused Canadian

we say shopping center! also more often than not we use the name of the particular center we mean- for example, theres a big chain shopping center in aus called westfield, so we’d just say ‘i’m going to westfield today’ or whatever ya feel?

#westfields are pretty big #and then theres another chain called Stockland Mall which are your kind of #every day small mall #but ofc being aussie we shorten even that to just stockland #neilmackays #ask
