Nekonomics is the overarching economy in the world, according to the (assumed) humans that live in the world. The catconomy, or cat economics, deals specifically with the cats.

sorry if i'm botherin ya, but i just started playin neko atsume and i'm not sure how to look inside of my house? there doesn't seem to be any controls that let me switch from the yard to inside of my house...

No problem at all!

You have to buy the yard expansion (180 gold fish) which is on the last page of the Shop. After that, all you do is scroll!

From there you can remodel your house to one of four new styles.

In neko atsume how do you get the yard with the bridge

After you buy the yard expansion (180 gold fish), you have the option to remodel your house. (The first remodel costs 140 gold fish, the rest cost 280.) You can freely switch between styles after you buy them once, but be careful - it takes out all of your Goodies and you’ll have to replace them. (Not sure about food.)

The yard you specifically mentioned is the Zen yard.

Coincidentally, remodeling your yard helps not only the catconomy (new surroundings are found to stimulate productivity!) but also to the nekonomy (the overarching economy of the entire game). Every time you remodel, you demand the service of the one doing the remodel for you, therefore increasing aggregate demand, which results in an increase in price level and naGDP (neko atsume GDP).
