Thank you for your initial post, and Ms. @suggestrogen + so many others for sharing their thoughts on the matter; it was definitely something I had to sit down and really think on and digest with a few peers of mine due to the political complexity of the matter, and I find it to be an extremely valuable conversation. It is, due to the... current sociopolitical climate, only natural to react to the subject by flinching. It's challenging to a lot of people's sensibilities.

However, letting your kneejerk disgust response dominate your very morals is, well, spineless. It betrays a kind of cowardice. A willingness to let an unfair assumption of the absolute worst literally damn someone to torture and death, zero chance of trial. And zero support for any affected by any harm, should it even exist in the first place.

Revenge does not fix things. Especially when no harm has been committed. If people genuinely want to keep marginalized people safe, they really should take all that's been said to heart, no matter how long it takes for the words to settle. This is a word that's been verifiably used time and time and time again as a weapon to beat minorities to death for being minorities.

It sure is interesting how quickly people jump to forget that the transfeminized regularly get accused of pedophilia as a way to justify murdering them the second it's involved in a conversation with moving parts instead of a single-issue post. It sure is interesting how quickly people jump to forget that this is a label also regularly used to justify the abuse and murder of disabled people, and non-transfeminized queer people, and people of color. It sure is interesting watching people shift the goalposts of what constitutes it in the middle of conversation, and throwing around shit like "[Suggestrogen] needs to get her hard drive checked".

It sure is interesting watching people completely shut down everything they've claimed to understand about how abuse functions, where it comes from, how oppressive structures work, what minority classes are, the fact that children are one and therefore more structurally vulnerable to abuse, the fact that other minority classes are vulnerable to getting unpersoned, the concept that an "unperson" class should not exist, restorative justice, harm reduction, prison abolition... So on and so forth.

As I said, none of this is about "protecting victims", it is entirely about creating new ones. With their own two billion hands.

You have opened up what I can only describe as a very difficult but very necessary can of worms. As @storyweavingspider said, "It is always too soon." Stay safe. Please, stay safe. Know in your heart just how many people love you. Keep that knowledge close to your heart in these trying times. Keep well, warm, fed, and safe.

This one. TL;DR - The UHSC has allegedly been taken down due to petty legal disputes between the guy who made it and Hussie/the HS team, and the creator of UHSC is alleging that there's been some insane levels of unprofessional, abusive conduct behind the scenes.

Again, I'm not disputing the idea there's been maltreatment. We basically know for a fact that working with any official HS team in any official capacity is a bit of a nightmare. We've heard countless reports of this. I just don't see how people aren't more offput by literally everything else going on here. The Discord screenshots aren't even real. I can't get over this. The Discord "screenshots" aren't even fucking real. They're HTML/CSS recreations. Can anyone hear me? It's dark in here.

Screenshots on their own can be faked, yes. The presence of screenshots alone does not constitute evidence, and pretending otherwise makes you an incredibly useful idiot. But the "screenshots" aren't even real. These aren't even real screenshots. I'm losing my mind.

The creator of the Unofficial Homestuck Collection made a post on his website alleging that the UHSC was taken down due to legal disputes with Hussie and the Homestuck team, and accusing Hussie/Homestuck of various abuses behind the scenes.

Do not mistake this for any kind of comprehensive official document. This is a Callout Post. It practically calls itself one. Particularly, this is a Transmisogynistic Smear Campaign against Hussie, who has been openly identifying as a Nonbinary/Clowngender Person with Any Pronouns for several years now.

There is not a single piece of evidence in this post. The Discord "screenshots" are HTML/CSS recreations. Gio spends 90% of the damn thing doing a whole lot of name-calling, randomly absolving himself of blame, posting memes? and Deltarune references? for some reason?, straight up posting social hit lists, and misgendering Hussie, and holy shit do I mean misgendering Hussie CONSTANTLY, down to insisting that Hussie is a man throughout. [REAL TIME EDIT: Gio is fixing the Misgendering! But only using They/Them pronouns. GREAT.]

Similarly, there was a weird as fuck Anti-Semitic remark just, casually thrown in, and then casually erased. This isn't even the first time Gio's done a Transmisogynistic Harassment Campaign.

What makes this all fucking ridiculous, is that the UHSC isn't even down. The Official Mirror of it is still up. You wanna know where it isn't up? Gio's site. You wanna know what Gio's site looks like? This.

I stand by my initial point of not necessarily disputing that there was maybe maltreatment behind the scenes. I don't know that. I wasn't there! I cannot prove anything.
