I hate how men compare smut and audios to literal violence against women and children on camera. "This includes booktok books" No it doesn't? It's also a braindead argument because most women do not read smut, and of the women that do read smut, do not read the extreme bdsm toxic dub con novels, making it a very small minority of women who do, and even if you don't agree with it, it's still text printed on a paper, made by a machine. In the porn videos? Every slap to the face she gets is real. Every hand to her throat is real. Her crying? That's real. Every time a man violently orally rapes a woman on camera, that's real. Real women who suffer through that abuse so that men can have sexual gratification from their pain. And to compare a fictional story's character's suffering to the suffering of women in real life by the hands of the pornography industry? That's disgusting.

This sex-doll company lets customers submit a photo of a woman so they can recreate her face on a doll. Not only is that creepy as fuck, but there are also a hundred reasons why this is a terrible idea. I have a few questions:

1. Are there any age restrictions for the women in these photos? Most of their dolls look so childlike that I’m honestly worried the answer is no.

2. Is there any way for them to verify that the woman in the photo has actually agreed to having her face used for a sex doll?

3. What does it do psychologically to men when they increasingly turn to submissive dolls that look like the exact women they’re fixated on?

What's also very concerning are the predominantly positive comments and lack of questioning. Our society has lost itself in sex-positivity.

not to look weird but this whole white woman hating thing gets really really misogynistic. just because racism towards white people doesn’t exist does not mean misogyny towards them does not either.

i’m obviously not talking about jokes like “white girls when they see pumpkin spice latte”. i’m talking about the “white women fuck dogs” type of things men say (which is a lie because men are the OVERBEARING majority behind every statistic of bestial rape)

this also goes for shutting women up. i see a lot of people saying shit like “only white women care about this social issue” implying it’s not an actual problem that only privileged people could care about- possibly because they have a white saviour complex- or suggesting women of colour who have been abused by society to not speak for themselves know their places when privileged people (which isn’t always the case for white women mind you) with silver spoons in their mouth don’t.

you see this happen with greta thunberg. you see this happen with (although i don’t entirely support her) jk rowling. using your privilege to do amazing things for humanity like greta does is not a bad thing to do. this is all strategies, again hiding behind minority identity politics to silence women.

to me the reason why this happens is not because the people who say things like this (this includes white men too) are actually racist towards whites. such thing does not exist systemically. the reason why they do this is to hide their misogyny behind “white racism jokes” because it’s socially acceptable (in circles that aren’t right wing) to make fun of the most privileged race in the world. women, on the other hand are not the privileged sex but because females are invisible as a marginalised group this type of hiding misogyny is completely normalised and common.
