The latest iteration of my altar. Ever evolving, ever growing, getting closer to whole.
She had done her best to stay away from other Gods, at least - the ones of her pantheon. Even before she had a reason to be upset, being left alone with her work suited her just fine, though it grew harder when the air grew colder.
Demeter had busied herself with raking, and unnecessary pruning of bushes. The cold nipped at her bare hands and she did her best to ignore it and focus on other things - like the sound of someone walking up the gravel driveway.

Though Persephone did not love Hades when they first married, it did not make her any more open to the idea of him having a mistress. Already mortified by the scene her mother caused, she would not be humiliated by word getting out that she was failing her basic duties as a wife. So, when she found the naiad Menthe in his bed, she reacted far more violently than she ever could have anticipated, only to very promptly consummate her marriage afterwards.
