I fear the China propaganda got to me because I lowkey wanna move there. the only problem is money conversion. If I save so much money here and move there I would be in a very nice lifestyle but if I work there and save up money but move here I would literally be broke in 3 months lol. their currency isn't that strong but ngl I never wanna move here ever again if I left so 🤷♀️ (their currency is weak compared to many countries so i wouldn't feel comfortable moving to a whole differenet place with the money saved if that makes sense).
They have everything i want but I also feel skeptical because I can't say a place is 'perfect' yk. that's just impossible. I like how they have rural area, the main city, and nature all in one country and the trains are very well connected to these areas (sorry I live in the US we literally have no metros or trains here unless in certain specific cities). People talk about how affordable it is but they actually don't get paid that high so the things there are not as affordable american tourists make it seem. But I did see a video a Chinese woman talking about this, she said that there are many things that are actually affordable in China even for the typical working class. If you're a chinese immigrant...can I know why you left 😭😭
anyways honestly...I just want to run away from my family lol I was thinking of working in Kansas city because it's where I can watch football and it's still close to my family in some way (my parents would feel okay knowing it's a 3 hour drive) but the truth is I actually recently stopped believing in Islam and I just wanna live my truth. I already know my parents would wanna come by and surprise me if I lived in Kansas city since it's close enough. Not only that, my family has friends there and I KNOW they will keep tabs on me with them. they will contact their friends and be like 'how is Nelly? is she doing well?'. basically they'll literally stalk me for the sake of my 'safety' which is good but also...I'm not muslim anymore so they'll be so angry and go crazy if one of their friends just finds out that way. or if i get a gf and the stalkers know.
so uh...China? lol I dont even know why it's China that's so intriguing to me, I think I like rednote too much 😭.
anyways if you know a country that isn't racist (I know China is racist but allegedly their laws are extremely strict so people don't do crazy shit??? again idk it's difficult knowing things from a country where they don't have a lot diversity), has a gay community, and affordable things where I know my taxes aren't funding a genocide that would be great. also a place where I can talk about politics without fearing my life lol.
