Nellie... my baby...She knows who took her voice box. The memory has been etched into her memory, it got taken out of her her when she wasn’t turned off. She put up a fight but she couldn’t defend herself. But she doesn’t know if that person still has her box, she can only assume that they do. And they’re the person she probably hates the most.
She wants her box back, it’s one of her biggest goals but bringing it back would call Lenny to repair Nellie which she doesn’t want. Anytime he wants to repair her she refuses his help until he will get repaired himself. So... she’s keeps her box as a wish until... she doesn’t know until when. Maybe until never.
One moment she found herself missing it the most? When she witnessed someone who was about to attack one of her friends and she couldn’t warn them in time. She didn’t reach them in time to keep any damage from them. Or when kids get lost in the park and instead of communicating through her voice she uses her body gestures and the kids get scared by it.
