Been thinking about my characters’ fighting styles lately...
Meg: While Meg definitely relies on the force a lot, she’s not a very stationary fighter. Depending on the fight, she’ll try to end it efficiently (hence bopping someone on the forehead and knocking them out lol). She can sometimes channel lightning through her lightsaber to give her strikes more of a punch, though she’s definitely disintegrated a couple lightsabers while doing this (her current one has been designed so this won’t happen). She can propel herself around with lightning sometimes, but not really with extreme accuracy. She’s known to chat with her opponents to distract them during battle. When she’s extremely enraged, she can generate enough power in her lightning to disintegrate her opponent to ashes.
Kas: A skilled duelist, Kas relies mostly on technique and agility in battle. He uses the force mostly to supplement his movement, allowing him a more acrobatic fighting style, as well as being able to throw and call back both lightsabers. Because of this, though, he’s more prone to being disarmed during combat. Luckily, Kas is prepared for this and usually keeps at least seven knives on his person at all times and is capable of flowing smoothly from lightsaber combat to knife-fighting. When his skills aren’t enough, Kas isn’t above fighting dirty. Don’t turn your back on him unless you want a knife between your shoulder blades.
Fa’rath: Loud and overtly aggressive, Fa’rath fights with a deadly combination of hard-earned training technique and sheer Force (in both manners). Despite her size and the heavy armor she usually wears, Fa’rath can move with lightning speed, easily out-matching most of her opponents. She usually goes for the kill rather than disabling her opponent, and, like Kas, uses her lightsabers as projectiles at times. She uses the Force to physically crush her opponents and she hits hard and fast; she’s even broken lightsabers in her grip. In that case, she’ll continue fighting, using the lightsaber hilt as a bludgeon. Fa’rath is also capable of crushing bone (ex: arms and skulls) using only her hands.
Daloth: Daloth fights with a single lightsaber, though her blade alone has been enough to terrify her opponents. The crystal in her blade shrieks with a high-pitched scream of pure dark side energy when ignited (the crystal itself, a quixoni crystal, is all that remains of planets consumed by their stars going supernova). Easily provoked and eager to prove herself to her masters, Daloth is prone to charging headfirst into battle with a snarl on her face. While she lacks the technical skills of fighters like Fa’rath and Kas, she doesn’t hesitate to use every advantage she can: Daloth wears sharp metals caps on her montrals, which she uses to gut her opponents in a head-butt.
Riin: Riin’s fighting style varies depending on the situation. She’s an excellent sniper and deadly with a pistol or rifle, and can rack up instant kills if that’s what the mission calls for. With a knife or even just with martial skill alone, she can render a group of opponents immobile in record time. Given the choice, however, Riin enjoys a drawn-out fight with her favorite weapon: poison. She makes a habit of coating her blades in the most deadly and painful poisons she can procure and takes pleasure in watching the hopeless faces of her opponents as they die slowly at her feet. Her sadistic and manipulative tendencies make her a useful asset in ripping information from unwilling sources.
Alioth: in his younger days, Alioth took great joy from an honest fight, or test of skill. He won or lost with good sportsmanship and was not prone to holding battle grudges (seeing how he married Rheyara despite her giving him a scar across his eye when they first met). Alioth would fight with a combination of lightning and attacks from his double-bladed saber, though since he stopped using the dark side after the death of his wife, he no longer fights with sith lightning. Currently, Alioth prefers not to fight at all, and will usually give his opponents the opportunity to surrender. He uses the force to immobilize and trap his opponents rather than kill, and always aims to fight with honor. However, during extremely emotionally-charged fights, it is possible that Alioth may fall back into using sith lightning in the heat of the moment.
Asoht: Whether it be a fistfight in a bar or a shootout between imperials or pirates, Asoht loves herself a good solid fight. Built with solid muscle and durasteel implants, Asoht is a tank in battle. She wields a big heavy gun with about as much effort as one would a small blade, and is usually charging ahead of her squad to clear the room of enemy forces. Asoht’s sub-dermal cybernetics make her almost impervious to hand-to-hand and blade attacks; punch her in the face and you’d probably break your fingers. She’s got a couple other cybernetic surprises, like multi-wavelength vision and the ability to shoot nullifying darts from her fingertips, though she prefers a frontal assault with her trusted blaster canon.
