Maybe it's because I've heard for 20+ years that Sakura deserved better than Sasuke but every time I hear someone say Yulian deserved better than Vaughn my instinct is to rip my hair out at how wrong they are.
Vaughn is exactly what Yulian deserves because he's who Yulian wants. More than anything, Yulian is crazy stupid in love with Vaughn. After everything Yulian went through, what he deserves is exactly what he has always wanted. What he waited for, yearned for, what he almost lost his life for.
"Vaughn doesn't deserve Yulian" well maybe just MAYBE Yulian deserves the man who tattooed coordinates to always remember the night he fell in love, maybe he deserves the man who brought his entire family into a rescue mission, maybe he deserves the man who showed him what their life could be, who showed him what it meant to be truly cherished for the first time in his life.
People keep saying Yulian deserves better but he wound up having everything he's spent 4 years wanting.
