Masterlist
Out of all the heroes, Eraserhead wasn’t the best one to be hunted by. His quirk made the types of villains who stole cash from grocery stores, or pickpocketed from unsuspecting passers-by into nothing more than someone having a really bad day. One look and their strength vanished, flashy lights were gone, and mind control was no longer effective.
But you weren’t like those regular villains.
You were smarter, a master strategist, and could read a room quicker than you can say ‘Eat This!’. You were more cunning, and could never be backed into a corner, physically and emotionally. You’d been caught red-handed stealing and killing by one too many people, and yet had never been taken into custody.
All that, and yet you had no quirk at all.
No one knew - god, what would become of you if someone knew? - so instead you placed up a perfect curtain to hide the fact you were quirkless. Making them all think you had some horrible power that is to never be unleashed unless you opponents want to be obliterated wasn’t hard. Gaining the reputation in order to never have to use the non-existent quirk - that indeed was the hard part.
But you achieved that years ago. Nowadays you were having too much fun evading Eraserhead to worry about building that reputation more.
“You don’t like making much noise, do you Eraser?” Stretching from your rooftop view, you turned to see him standing on the opposite edge. His capture weapon was poised midair, and he tilted his goggles up to his hairline.
“You often make too much of it.” he replied drying, stepping down off the building ledge to push his presence closer. “What you did today was way too much. You went too far. And I am not leaving you alone until you’re dead or locked away forever.”
You watched him carefully. Normally, he didn’t shy away from threats - even if they turned empty - but something about his words today were different. His tone, posture, the way his eyes kept flickering between their normal darkness and their red glow.
Your lips curled back to bear your teeth in a smile.
“So those UA kids, they are your weak spot.”
