There are occasions when I am made privy to the ideas others have for characters with natures not unlike my own. Without fail, they end up a bit different to myself, and it never does cease to sting as a cut given by a page.

There are occasions when I am made privy to the ideas others have for characters with natures not unlike my own. Without fail, they end up a bit different to myself, and it never does cease to sting as a cut given by a page.
It is one of those days, one that comes only once in a great while to plague my thoughts, thoughts that would otherwise be occupied by plans for my machinations such that no one but myself could follow the threads. I am saddled with the weight of the limitations of my nature. Of course, my friends and acquaintances either know well this nature or don't mind, but what am I, truly, that I cannot affect change directly as such. This is always the case.

This is most fascinating.
I welcome you, newcomers, to my little corner. I hope our exchanges will be agreeable for the most part. I, of course, understand that this will not always be possible, such as when our desires do not line up, however I hope for such moments to be fleeting.
Ordinarily, I would have more to say than this, but the current state of affairs that I am bearing witness to have managed to leave me bereft of the right words to say.
I wish to apologize for my prolonged absence, although I was still very much around, merely observing. I also wish to implore my various anomalous friends to consider what they are currently doing. Is this the image you wish to project?

@pataphysics-department, more friends have come forth on this platform, it would seem. Some who may have answers, if I only knew the proper questions to ask of them. Then again, they may not, or they may be unable to provide those answers freely. I do not know what I can offer in exchange, but if you are reading this, those of narrative knowledge, I would be eager to discuss matters with you at some time in the future, if we can come to amneable terms for this.

Some things I am witnessing lead me to believe it may be imperative to remind the community at large that, when it comes to dealings within this world, the hidden world, there are many things that can be dangerous. Knowledge is powerful and can arm you, certainly, but you need to be aware of the risks of that double-edged sword. Tread wisely.

It would appear that, during the time in which I have been merely observing without comment, many faces I have not encountered before have made themselves known within my sphere.
I would like to extend a hand in welcome to all of you. I cannot, of course, make any promises about what manner of interactions we may have in the unforeseeable future, but I can guarantee you that I will hold no ill will toward any of you.
I would like to request the same, in exchange, though I do understand the difficulty in doing this within this field.
