I can always count on Tumblr & Pinterest to gaslight me into thinking maybe I’m tweaking when I gave up reading The Foxhole Court within the first ten chapters because of how bored I was.

Yeah there were parts of Ai Long Nhai the series that were cringey but when you read the novel you realize they.....weren't working with a lot to begin with. It's giving they did the best with what they had. And what they had was welll.......
Nhai really had no idea what Life360 was & still took out his phone for Aiyaret to take & download it. Mind you they might have known each other 48 hours 😩🥴😵💫

I have to thank Megan Davidhizar for providing me with (I'm pretty sure) my first 5-star read of 2026 with Silent Sister. So, so, SO good. One day I'm going to go back and take note of all the Easter eggs I missed leading up to the plot twist because talk about PERFECTION!!
So I recently finished reading Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen McManus. And granted, I wasn't overly fond of any of the characters, but one thing I discovered about Karen is that she knows how to deliver a plot twist! The first one had me shook, but the one she delivered at the very end had my jaw on the FLOOR.
