Hi! If you're still doing the character asks, can I put in 5, 11, 22, and 23 for SOI Boris (also, just wanted to say that the name does have a certain charm to it, according to a very funny story I keep seeing involving a Russian cop and a crank caller)?

5. On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

receipts, a spare lighter for Benicio, his Favorite Pen, or occasionally a neatly folded up drawing from one of the kids over at @the-bakersdozen C: 

11. In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

i cant really go into detail about this because {SPOILERS} but i will say this..

when his “fathers” empire went up in flames

when someone feels they have more privilege over than someone else

Dang, you picked some interesting ones! Okay, let’s see:

4. What were the conditions surrounding their formative years?

Considering that he’s technically still in his formative years, it’s not all that different from where he was before meeting his group. Osbri lived with a lone Wolfkind Blacksmith named Thraux Cullfang who took the Wolfkin child in when he got separated from his family at about 8 years old during an attack by a small Yuan-Ti army (According to the campaign I’m in, Wolfkins are essentially a subspecies of Wolfkind alongside Wolffolk [all of which are Homebrew races]). Osbri, having lost an arm in the attack, has been provided with a prosthetic arm by Thraux, who continually improves and adapts the arm to Osbri’s body as the young Ranger grows and develops as well as providing for the kid and tending to his needs in any way that he possibly can. In exchange, Osbri helps the old Blacksmith by making contributions around the home like doing chores or hunting for food. 

That’s all I have for now, but I’ll be sure to add more stuff in when I can.

5. What creature would they like to have as a pet?

I think any animal would do for him in all honesty, especially with him being a Beast Master-type Ranger. He is a little more of a dog person at the moment though.

9. How would this character react to someone confessing their love for him?

Hmm, that’s a bit of a hard one... I think Osbri would be unsure of how to react to that at first, whichever type of love it may be. If the confession is that of familial/platonic love, and he knows very little about the person in question, he’d more or less play along with it (getting flustered and flattered by such a remark) but wouldn’t necessarily believe that person nor fully take their confession to heart (he doesn’t like admitting this to others as he’s rather shy and worries that he’d hurt their feelings in doing so). Familial/platonic love is something he takes very very seriously in truth and holds it in the highest regard, so it’ll take quite more than mere words for someone to truly convince him that they do love him in that way.

With romantic love, however, Osbri’s not at all familiar with that area yet, so that’s uncharted territory for him. For now, at least. We’ll just have to see what happens in the campaign’s future. ;)

Glad to see Biscuit again! Also, regarding Tumblr's color change, if you have Xkit, there's an extension you can use to desaturate it back to not-retina-burning. It's listed as Old Blue. For the theme, I'm not sure what you could do; I haven't heard of anyone having that sort of a problem. Wouldn't surprise me though, Tumblr tends to break a little every time they roll out a new update. Hope things are going alright!

Holy crap, I need to do some edits on this blog!

Seriously, it’s been a long while since I had last been on here (heck, it’s been forever since I made my own posts, too), and some bits of info and ideas have long since been changed. Dunno when it’ll be that I’ll redo some of this stuff, but I’ll be sure to let ya’ll know when I do!

Also, I may have said this before (and even if I did, I’ll say it again), but thank you @nemo-draco for listening to me ramble on about my ideas and stuff that I have planned for this AU. You have been a great help to me (even during the times when I emotionally ripped your heart out), and I look forward to delving more into this story and all that entails with you!

For those who don’t know, Nemo is the author of this BatIM role-reversal fanfic called “Ups and Downs” which was inspired by @thelostmoongazer. If you haven’t read it for yourselves yet, I highly recommend giving it a look! You won’t regret it (though you may need some tissues and a pillow or stuffed animal; there be some heartwrenching angst involved in there)!

Hey, saw your post and was wondering how to send stuff to your paypal? I saw the email link but I'm not sure how to use it to send you something.

I appreciate you being open to donating, it means a lot, sincerely. Things have been super tough and I know a lot of other folks online are in a similar boat to me finance-wise.

Now I am unsure if you are asking because you don’t have a paypal or not. If you don’t you’d have to set up an account and link it to your bank, and I am fairly certain the website has steps listed for you there when creating one!

So when you open your paypal account page there is a button at the top that says ‘Send Money’. From there you click that and then you just type in/paste the email and send the amount you wish to send, from there you follow the steps, it’s rather easy at that point. I would select ‘Sending money to a friend’ since the only other option is paying for goods/services and that doesn’t really apply!Alternatively I have a paypal.me link that makes it much simpler here!

Thank you so much for being interested in helping! I also understand if you lack a paypal and cannot/do not wish to make one, there is no pressure or obligation here at all to send me money.

(Wanted to send my thoughts this way because I wasn’t sure if I could fit everything into the askbox. If this isn’t alright, feel free to let me know!) 

Regarding Boris and the Brute Boris armor, especially what you said about it using his ink as a power source, while I imagine being stuck with siphoning gadgetry would likely hurt a fair bit, the part that would worry Henry especially (given that he’s been in the army and likely has had some experience with injuries and how bad they can get), is if Boris starts to grow very weak, lightheaded, and confused, as those are signs of moderate to severe blood loss. Wasn’t sure if you were going with the angle that ink is sort of like the toon’s blood, but I think it would be interesting given that Henry more likely would recognize the signs, while Bendy and Boris might not. Definitely adds some element of urgency to the last bit of the fight to say the least, given that it becomes about surviving as well as getting Boris out of the suit before it kills him.

Oof! That would definitely kick Henry’s fight or flight response into overdrive. That’s an interesting idea! I was thinking that the ink served as a kind of life force for the toons, so that would work with this scenario. No doubt Henry would be working as fast as he could to get his cartoon son out of that thing. Thanks for the suggestion! Always appreciate getting input and ideas for this AU. :)

(For the writing ask meme) A snapshot into the aftermath of the BATIM Bioshock AU? Like maybe a first experience of something for Bendy and Delta, or maybe Henry adjusting to having a family? Heck, it could be Ross and Linda adjusting to having a bunch of new people in the house, either or!

This is actually something that me, inkspottie, and dober have been discussing when we’re not destroying each other with our angsty ideas!

We have come up with a lot of ideas for what happens in the aftermath, like Bendy finding a cat and naming her Beans, Henry spending his first thanksgiving with a family, Ross and Linda dealing with their new family, and even talking about Delta and Henry finding their own Linda’s (Lily and Lindie).

I’ll have to come up with more cute stuff to write in the future in our chat to post here cause I need to give you guys some positive one-shots from this au instead of the typical angst!
