listen i love neopets still, and i love hanging around as a help chat regular, but as soon as anything between a minor inconvenience like lag, or a major thing like a broken site feature pops up..... we just get flooded with dozens of blind ants asking the same questions and pestering for answers instead of scrolling just a couple rows down and reading other board titles.
this is the chat community i’ve chosen for myself. other than occasional visits on an avatar chat group.
accomplishment of the month: making a really really good looking potato font.
oh yeah i realized i didn’t post it here!!
i finally got back my stolen and then frozen account!! Genna and Genovi are back. Extreme was sent off to some random inactive account though... Neo’s transfer history records didn’t go back far enough to reverse it. so i had to make a new one. but i still had his neo outfit in the closet, and his Darigan Carmariller was even still there!
there were a lot of neopoints missing, and some site event items seemed gone like battledome weapons and books. yet there was a royal paint brush in my SDB, and my gallery was untouched?
it felt really bizarre. it still does. there was so much of my account and privacy that feels violated. things changed that i never changed. but i have 2 out of my 3 beloved pets back. and 1 i had to recreate. that’s more than some people get to say about their stolen accounts.
but now im jealous and annoyed at the game avatars and trophies there that i have no idea how to get on my main. and saddened that i wont have big event avatars and trophies on my main either. but at least i know and see that it’s still there.
the only thing i’ve got any hopes for to the start of this month is getting at least 1 new neopets trophy.
trying to learn how to draw anthro-y neopets again is rough stuff. i need to better learn warm ups and less important drawings as being done first instead of the one i wanna focus on. oh well.
im gonna make a gay gender comic for neopets and no one can stop me. except i guess if the neopian times doesnt publish it. which still doesnt stop me from making it, it merely mildly inconveniences me in sharing it with anyone who still reads NT comics.

ended up making a PSA board about how the GMC scores can still be sent in after sending in 3 other scores that day for the prizes but not the game NP
feels like a good deed. somehow.
it’s 5:30 am now. goodnight.
i just realized earlier in the night (..... morning? 2-3 am ish?) that probably a fair chunk of inspiration for my early neopets screenie art was from calvin and hobbes.
and now it just makes me want to try experimenting with drawing in that style some.
