Dear Vector Prime, can Unicron grant power to completely organic beings?

Indeed. In one version of Unicron's attack on Primus, the Neo-Knights were accidentally teleported to Cybertron along with the other Transformers. But this time, Unicron could sense Josie Beller's electrical disruption powers before she unleashed them on him. Instead, he ensnared her mind, placing him under his thrall and reformed Josie from Circuit Breaker into The Dysintegratryx. Her power was amplified a thousandfold, and she made short work of all the Cybertronians—at least, those who did not have protective Pretender shells.
Josie had a moment of insight, realizing that even though she had destroyed countless robots, she herself had performed the will of the most evil mechanical being of all. Refusing to be enslaved by yet another cosmic being, she lashed out at Unicron, but she discovered she was unable to use her powers against him. Help came from an unlikely place: Octopunch, who had taken the Matrix from Optimus Prime's body, knew that he was responsible for causing Unicron to come to Cybertron. To make amends, he convinced Josie to work with him.
He quickly fused his trident with the Matrix into the Matrident. Josie channeled her great power into it, and the unbelievable Matrix energy, combined with electrical powers, shot forth as a great bolt, and destroyed Unicron. Josie would spend the rest of her life on Cybertron, helping the reformed Octopunch—now calling himself "Octomus Prime"—rebuild the damaged world with the power of the Matrix, creating a new population of techno-organic Pretenders.
