Note: I have not watched/read every single Transformers thing ever made, so I'm sure I'm missing a few. What I haven't seen yet: Energon, Cybertron, Bayverse, Earthspark, IDW, most of Prime..
But so far, these are my top 20 favorite MegOp moments from across the multiverse!
#20 The MacAdam's date in Cyberverse
A cute little moment to ease in; in Cyberverse we have this flashback to them in their pre-divorce days just sitting together, at MacAdam's, utterly locked into each other's eyes. Just like, ignoring the rest of the world, having their little debate, nobody else around. And you know, yup. That's totally them.
#19 The Orion Pax arc of TFP
Prime Megs and OP are the most divorced version - I haven't even seen all of Prime, there's no doubt moments I'm missing - this moment though struck me as the most emotional so far. OP loses his memories, Megs tells him they're still friends. There's just such a sense of longing throughout the whole thing. The life they once had, and never will again.
#18 The Space Date in IDW 2019
Because these two just had the best dates back before they were enemies; in IDW 2019 Orion and Megs just go on jet packs, into space, exploring the world, and it's just the cutest thing.
#17 Megsy's repeated refusal to let anyone else kill OP in TFP
(not sure what pic to use, he does it so often)
Less fluffy and more dramatic, but TFP Megs just has this insistent habit of "Nobody can kill OP but me", not Starscream, not Unicron, not anyone. It's totally because of his pride, it's not because he secretly likes the idiot baka or anything.
#16 TFA Megs inviting OP to become his bride loyal teammate
TFA! Megs and OP don't get a ton of moments because they weren't former friends, but they do have some of the best chemistry of any MegOP. And this is from a dubiously canon sequel comic, but it definitely does read like an interesting path Tfa Megs&OP could've gone down.
#15 Orion Pax fanboying over Megatron in G1 (War Dawn)
G1 Megs and OP don't have too many moments but they were after all the original. And Orion's little fanboy crush on Megs in their first meeting really stands out; the entire reason he became Prime was because Megs betrayed his trust. The start of a beautiful nemesis-ship.
#14 "I did it for Us" Tf:One
One has the most moments on this list because they are soooooo married. This one is a little compromised by the fact that Orion is sort of manipulating D here. But this beautiful scene where D thinks Orion has just brough him up to the best seats in the house, and OP says he did it for us...soooo romantic.
#13 OP moping over Megs dying in TFP
I miss my wife. Ratchet, I miss him a lot.
Prime has a lot of times where he's moping over Megs dying; in Marvel he gets all depressed, and he's so down at the end of Armada. But Prime OP takes the cake for being the most moody about Megs and so sad that his evil genocidal maniac boyfriend never turned back to the good guys. OP like seriously.
#12 D saving Orion over and over again in Tf:One
All the sweetness before they went bad. D saves him from the guards, then he saves him from Darkwing. Then in the race. Then the very first thing he does after Transforming is save Orion. It's just so sweet, and such a nice series of moments before...the doom.
#11 "I'm just happy to be here with you "Tf:One"
The last moment, before the fall. Before they learned about Sentinel. Just D and Orion, on the planet's surface, looking around them. And then this line. Your heart just melts, and then breaks. "I'm just happy to be here with you"...if only they'd been enough for each other...

TFA Megs and OP only really get one moment like this, but it's a doozy: In the season 2 finale, when they team up to fight Starscream and his clones. And OP, for no reason whatsoever, saves Megsy's life. He's snarky about it going all "I wasn't coming to your rescue", idiot baka, but there's really no excuse. Also this is the ep where Megs holds him up by the ass for a while. Slashy fun.
#9 Armada Megs screaming OP"s name and moping when he dies
Armada Megs and OP might be the most married MegOp of all time; the obsession is just. So intense. It's the anime so of course it is. Megs though. He just screams PRime's name and goes into a deep depression for days when he thinks he's lot him...then laughs like a madman when he returns...then gets so obsessed Screamer has to sacrifice himself for him to notice anything else. Yeah. They be married.
#8 Marvel Megs dying in OP's arms
Marvel Comics! Megs and OP have a lot of moments, like Megs basically committing suicide over Prime being dead. But the Regeneration one ending, where OP finally has to put him down and mourns him, holding him in his arms and admitting "a part of me died with him"...doomed robot yaoi, always.
#7 "Journeys end in lovers meeting" from the TfPrime data books
The data books of Prime somehow make them even gayer than they already were. This is just mind-blowing. In Prime's journal he keeps thinking that phrase whenever Megs shows up. I'm not making this up.
#6. G1 Megs&OP's many team-ups (and OP swooping him off his feet a lot)
G1 Megs and OP don't have quite so many moments as their later versions, but when they do team up it's pretty magical. Prime in G1 especially has such a gentle way of wielding Megs when he needs to? And in Insecticon syndrome he just...swoops him into a bridal carry and wields him to save the world. And then in the finale they just...save the world and shake hands.
5 Megs dying in Op's arms in Cyberverse
Sooo many tragic endings for Megs and OP across the continuities. And this one is particularly sad, with Cyberverse Megs redeeming himself and dying, while OP holds him gently and looks so sad. What was it with Cyberverse making the Primes watch while their Decepticon boyfriends died?
#4 Armada Megs sacrificing himself and telling OP to go to his friends (and OP getting depressed about it)
The Armada finale was basically the Megs/OP ultimate moment in so many ways. This isn't even the highest ranked moment. But Armada! Megs realizes Unicron can never be defeated as long as his and OP's conflict still exists, so he basically batman-gambits OP into one last fight, tells him he loved every minute of it, and cuts himself free to save Optimus. And OP is actually sad about it. My heart. (lala Energon doesn't exist lala)
#3 The Decal gift in Tf:One
The soft gentle touch. The consideration. The "looks good on you". The way they look at each other in this scene. It's the softest, tenderest, most conjunxed thing. So soft.

Armada Megs and OP have such an incredible finale, where they basically wrestle while admitting their feelings for each other. Galvatron chooses to phrase his question like this. Of course. Because they really like each other, and their doomed robot yaoi saved the universe.
#1 Orion sacrificing himself to stop D from killing Sentinel and D catching him in tf:One
Yes, I picked the moment right before the Worst Moment as the best. But OP actually sacrifice himself in the hopes of stopping D from falling to the dark side. And D grabbing his hand one more time. Almost saving him. "Why would you (meaning himself) do that, why!" The heartbreak. The beauty. Their last moment together.

Going into as many transformers media as I can get a hold of is very funny in regards to Jetfire. Optimus Prime? Very consistent along all iterations. Jetfire? Noooo clue what he's gonna be next. I feel like the only thing that ties him together is that he eventually becomes an Autobot. Though I am only on episode 2 of TF:WfC so who knows maybe his hinted morals won't be a problem for the Decepticons.
Not pictured here is TFA Jetfire whom the creator literally admitted is a totally different character, he gets an honorable mention though.
