Undertale fans get salty if you don't give the characters voices? That's a new one, i thought the salt was over if you did pacifist/genocide/neutral/only one route/you did this wrong/you didn't show this/etc.

I’m at least relatively sure I’ve seen examples of that, and like I said, I’ve gotten comments getting angry at me over not voicing characters in MMBN, so I can only imagine a super story and character driven game like Undertale would be worse in that regard, haha.  But yeah, Undertale from what I gather is one of those games where, if you LP it, it’s impossible to please everyone.  Granted, given I do have my own issues with the game (mainly the whole punishing completionists thing), I’d probably rather leave the game alone anyway.  Nothing against anyone who does enjoy it of course, and like I said, I love the characters in the game, but I’m not too sure it’s a game I’d really want to get into myself.

Um, roahm, you said that you were considering to try the demo of Mighty No.9 in something you own that can run it, yes? I assume that would be the Wii U. At the current state of the game, i'd HEAVILY advice you against it, given that the Wii U version has been reported to being the glitchiest of the versions, up to being able to outright FREEZE the console.

Apoc, question, you're the one guy i know about that knows his shit about things like Garry's Mod and stuff. So i have to ask, should i not have the funds to get garry's mod and chose to use Source Film maker instead, is there any way to import smash models to it or is it stuck with the Valve-made content? I figure that having the 3D resource to make reference poses or potential 2D/3D joke ideas would be useful as a tool.

Anything that works in GMod should work with few problems if any. I upload most of my stuff with an SFM direct link as well so at least all of my stuff will work with SFM.

The only concern is some older models might not work with SFM, and anything with transparent textures may have some AO issues.

I mean, this is, what, the third or so run of the entire game you've had with this fangame? i know its a good fangame man, but seriously, this is what caused the burn out of BN4 on the first place. You need to find something to relax with. (as a side note: just tell me if you need new graphics man, i'll try to get them done).

Haha, yeah, this one’s a different kind of frustration, I wasn’t exactly in a mood to work on Perfect Runs, but that’s almost what I’m having to do here because of Wily having three health bars to my three hits, haha.  I’ll get it down sooner or later though, I’ve pretty much got Phase 1 perfected at this point so it’s a non issue, and I can actually get through Phase 2 unscathed sometimes at least.  It’s usually the blast radius of exploding fireballs or bad timing on the saw blades that will catch me there.  So then it comes down to the “fun” of fighting a Wily Capsule buster only, haha.  My main issue there is still having trouble judging the hitboxes on the Sonic Slicer attack.  But yeah, so it goes.

Anyway, as far as art assets go, Metroid II is definitely the next major project I’ll be tackling.  I don’t know that I’ll be doing an opening map screen like I did with the original Metroid project if only because it’s not as easy to “subdivide” the full map, like, it’s not as tidy as elevators leading to Brinstar, Norfair, etc.  A nice title card and outro card would be good though.  I’m planning on a 100% run, so if you want to have some sort of collectibles / progress counter I can adjust on the outro card, that could be good.  I’d mainly guess it would need to keep track of Energy Tanks, Missiles, Metroids defeated, and major items, though I honestly forget what all items were in Metroid II, haha, it’s been a long time since I’ve played the game.  I can actually date the last time I really sat down with the game as being back when that two-in-one Nintendo cereal was a thing.

You know, i seem to remember this fangame started as a casual thing because the postgame of BN4 was starting and needed preparations... the game of whose 3 runs were done after shattered memories decided not to work with you...which was ALSO a side project to relieve BN4's burn out. Dude, so far you've not had a good one lately. I'd suggest playing something like Spyro 2 or Metroid II after this is done because the torture you're going through is ridiculous man. You need a simpler game. (==>?)

Haha, sadly I don’t know if I’ll be able to afford it.  At the moment my priority would be to getting the Season Pass for Hyrule Warriors Legends, and even then, I’m like 33 cents short on that.  One of those where I wish the eShop had a way to just directly deposit funds of an amount of your choosing, rather than their preset blocks.  Ah well.
