I don't know why I didn't notice this before, I feel so damn slow about it, but there is an interesting connection with Caius and Bahamut. No, not just the armour and becoming dragons but also the fighting style I noticed more than anything; both of them are very aggressive in their style. They use swift quick strikes, upward strikes/uppercuts, and bombard with heavy magic attacks whilst borne or grounded.They use fire moves even gravity, using meteors and so much that shows so much in his attacks and combinations

Alright so for Bahamut fight style (going off Final Fantasy: XIII - Fang’s Bahamut  Fight) usually its:

Whirlwind ➜Umbral Vice

Whirlwind ➜Inferno➜Ignis

Whirlwind➜Umbral Vice ➜Ignis

While Caius Ballad’s style (going off the fight before the final boss fight in FFXIII-2) has a unique twist but falls similar to Bahamuts style of play;

* - meaning it be like 3 - 6 with him

Giga-Graviton➜Teleports before the blast➜Sword Strikes*

He may occasionally switch out Pulsar Burst for Inferno if he wants too. However his reverence of Bahamut goes beyond his armour, and this may have been learned from his first encounter with the entity as a L’cie.

             I can't help but think that Gran Pulse, in terms of cuisine, was very similar to like how foods are perceived in the Monster Hunter World. considering how most beasts that roam gran pulse are larger and powerful than most humans, requiring large numbers of them, they would always have large meals - roasts, stews all centred around meats. I’m sure Pulsians didn't neglect vegetables and other plant lifeforms over just a strict diet of meat; but don't distort the idea that a pulsian doesn't know how to cook, cut, prepare meat like the finest butcher. It’s probably something secondary to all pulsians who understand the rigorous customs. So if you do know a pulsian im sure some could prepare meals like this if they have the proper ingredients. Nonetheless, when it comes to meat I think they would realise what meat is authentic and what is just fake.

     In Lightning’s return, It is increasingly apparent his age-long company yeul brings scarce satisfaction or pleasure, seemingly only deepens on misery in silence during his entire existence.  Mostly his sentiments concerning Yeul are exceedingly complex in nature, as he still understands is she a mere child. one who rejects the thought ideal to let his soul rest, coupled with arguing requests from their shattered soul. He wants to leave Yeul’s company but may subtly feel some measure of offence that is not truly expressed instead is unwholesomely rationalise this stemming from her child-like tendencies.

To add from here 

        Ultimately I’m certain he is doomed, to live another immortal life; exchanging a depressing long life, filled with sorrow and insanity for another hellish nightmare. The eternities under the servitude of the Goddess, Etro supplant with the absolute imprisonment of the many children he’s protected centuries now turned his dominant superiors. He shall not transition to a world of beauty, peace, wonder where the soul knows only rest; dwelling in a dream-like realm were all its chords blending into mellifluous melody. He is, now, linked to an inescapable fate to the chaos, and must roam unceasingly in that appalling matter, to shepherd those doomed spirits. I am now more certain in his circumstance he has adjusted to make the better of this terrible fate by helping with the delicate equilibrium - even if he denied rest for eternity. The Yeul’s will not let him go and his soul is inextricably linked with the chaos; for its symbolism represents their love for him.

            How Caius Ballad felt about this is perhaps mixed with abhorrence and sorrow. Now outlining them I do sense this prison yields no future, knowing no escape from Yeul; for his bound to her for aeons henceforth he may understand a child's need for companionship, yet he seems driven to insanity in their paradoxical thoughts; some yeuls desires his rest, yet other demand his rebirth, owing to puerile tendencies and their attachment at an age so young. Yet he depressingly suffers in her company, and the Yeuls know well of his longing wish of death. He has long-since lived for her purpose and desires not to be accursed life, disturbed by the immensity of the time were the human mind not live beyond things incomprehensible to primitive beings. For our mind is meant to burden those undescribable images and utter isolation whilst all things gradually fall before us in plain view.
