*sigh* Okay, I think my first answer wasn’t clear enough.

I quoted, (not said, see there’s a difference there already) “You have your Odin and I have mine” from a tv show which has very little to do with with actual Vikings or Ásatrú. This basically makes your entire first response invalid. 

But even so, why would you attack someone so rudely on a matter (viewing certain aspects of a religion differently than others) which happens in every religion around the world? What do you hope to gain from it?

I’m assuming this is about this post, which is of course a quote from the show Vikings and so does have just a little bit to do with actual Vikings or Ásatrú. Something which you might have known if you had thought or looked just a few seconds longer. 

That said, if we’re going into detail and I actually want to explain you something, in the show the character Rollo who said this quote was of course not speaking of two literal Odins (I mean that would be a bit stupid wouldn’t it) but of course of the different aspects of one and the same entity. For some people this might be a little hard to grasp, not to assume you’re stupid or anything, that’d be very rude wouldn’t it.
