Evan Williams VERSAILLES interview: What’s in store for the Chevalier de Lorraine in season 2 http://www.myfanbase.de/serien/versailles/interviews/?pid=25076
Last week we gave thanks for all the good in our lives. Over the last week and a half I’ve been feeling a deeper sense of love and gratitude for my journey. I grieved deeply after the Paris attacks, and for all the confusion/pain/suffering of humanity as a whole. When will the madness stop? Why can’t we be better to ourselves and to each other? I cried and screamed like a baby, (no joke), but when I came out the other side, my perspective immediately began to shift. I found myself experiencing so much more gratitude for all the puzzle pieces that make up my life; the people, the places, the opportunities. I wish I could put an end to all the unnecessary fighting and pain and suffering in the world. I know I can’t. But I can do my part by leaving behind a legacy that reflects what I believe. I have the tools necessary to reach thousands of others; I have people in my life who are like minded and believe in the good in humanity, and aim to empower others. So in the spirit #GivingTuesday, I encourage you to be apart of a journey to educate young minds and empower future generations. My @buildon team, #NepAllin, is so excited to build a new school in #Nepal next year. We have already raised enough for half our school in just over one month. Imagine not being able to read or write - this is reality for nearly 1.1 billion people across the globe. Just $22 will provide one child in a developing country with an education. If you’re looking for a good way to give this holiday season, I encourage you to consider giving the gift of knowledge to someone who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity. Our good deeds usually have lasting effects that go on to create and do even more good, and often times, we aren’t even aware of how far the ripples we make travel.
