unnecessarily long intro: originally brought into the world around one crashing brindleton bay shoreline, there’s no mistake when one says Ines’ life tends to ebb and flow in the same manner as the waves she could still hear from her open bedroom window. her many trips to the lighthouse wove the very thread that trailed to her sanity in the labyrinth that was dealing with her family - a little escapism never hurt anyone in ages of confusion. feeling off-put in a house of six wasn’t irrational. she wanted to learn everything she could about the world, about anything she couldn’t already comprehend and even the gritty details of the subjects she did. with little support from struggling parents, Ines took up small jobs just to afford her own...snug...apartment in san myshuno - a cultural and artiscially-inclined hub for anyone who wished to be exposed to new things. it was the perfect place for a girl like her, one would only think, but it would never feel as comforting to her as brindleton bay. Ines wishes to publish her own books someday: of poetry, love, and adventure as her big, wandering heart desires. while “family” is a word that’s always been a bit anxiety-inducing, it doesn’t negate Ines’ quieter desire to have one she doesn’t feel the need to take a walk away from all the time. the hopeless romantic in her sings stronger with how easily attached she can be to those that interest her just as much as learning.
odd tid-bits:
this bab is really just a mush if you make her laugh when she’s trying to be serious or goes on rambles over minuscule subjects
her favorite color is marigold through and through
has been trying to catch mr. whiskers for years but now she’s moved and that still upsets her on the low
would honestly even love to have friends cause her apartment has been her cave and this oldie thinks being friends with the lighthouse keeper was Good Enough
really just heavily inspired by florence + the machine’s high hopes album oops ? ? ?
pretty sure if you could make sims snort when they laugh she’d do so if you get her worked up enough
always tries anything once, and if she likes it you might not hear the end of it for a time
pie over cake what in the World
she’s really got a soft spot for seeing close relationships and will do just about anything to make strong bonds last. her old childhood buds will still get a text from her every now and then to keep the door open (still misses lighthouse keeper most tho i’m sorry)
the one to make obnoxious signs when someone graduates because she’s forever proud of new achievements and thinks other people should be too even if they’re small
wait the brits don't have half and half i...*what*
i went into a sainsburys asking for half and half when i first got there and the worker was like "wot??? we doen ave dat” and i was like ew???? so im supposed to use milk??? and the guy was like “ye das wot we yuz”
i finally had the time to read through all of the bloom legacy, start to current, after following you for a while and catching the tail end of things... and honestly i've never been so invested in a sim family than i am with the blooms. i've seen these babies have babies, and their babies have babies, and i'm gushing. it's all been so beautiful, ella. <3
thank you so much! i know what you mean it’s amazing to see all my babies growing up, when it used to be just aurora and zeke. thank you for reading :)
