The Elite Four building is known by many as the pinnacle of Pokemon training experience. Skaia surely went all out when its construction was pleaded by the people: the whole building feels like a city itself.
A gigantic mall is tied together with the Pokecenter, where the largest common room in the region is available to all those who wish to sit down and relax, meet fellow trainers facing the same challenge, sitting at the cosy couches with their feet swaying to and forth from the excitement of it all - and the anxiousness as well.
The battle arenas are only up ahead, and the trainer signs up with the porter before they are taken to the central room.
It looks like something taken somewhere between a fairy tale or a video game.
It's a dark room, with four doorways ahead, glowing pale against the black background, each with some sort of sash wrapped around it.
The first doorway is decorated with a plain white sash - the trainer inside is known to have mastered the Ground type.
The second holds a black sash inbued with what appears to be plenty neon green miniscule stars - leading to the Dark type master.
The sash around the third doorway is plain like the first, however dots and lines are scribbled on it at random - the Bug master waits beyond it.
The last doorway is decorated with a pure black sash - where the Steel type master is.
Calling for the trainer supposed to challenge the league today, the porter brings them to this first choice.
As another day of work starts at the gym, Yaldabaoth relished at the sight of an empty booking schedule.
This meant he'd have all the time in the world to go through the entire fighting arena, polishing up the fancy details of decoration and the serveral Pokeballs reserved for battle.
This also meant he could stride along the arena and practice his menacing, imposing gym leader walk, cane ominously tapping alongside his every step.
It'd be most unfortunate if someone happened to come visit today, while he was in this most sacred and frankly embarrassing process.
But at the moment, he was far too focused to care.
