“ hey, ”  salem  nodded,  greeting  the  person  that  walked  up  to  the  front  door  of  her  tattoo  parlor,  where  she’d  been  smoking  her  second  cigarette  of  the  day.  “ y’know  i  would  beg  you  not  to  tell  my  manager  about  this  but, ”  she  held  up  the  cigarette,  “ i  am  the  manager. ”  the  artist  chuckled  at  her  own  words  before  sticking  the  cigarette  back  between  her  teeth  and  running  her  fingers  through  the  front  of  her  hair,  “ here  to  get  inked  up? ”  she  stepped  into  the  studio  with  a  kind  smile.

Carson got out of his car and locked it. “Good to be back.” He said with a smile. He didn’t want to leave as quickly as he did, but his family needed him, the only family he had left on his mom side.

“’We’ve currently shut down to do a little remodeling..’” Kristine read allowed the sign that was tapped to the middle of the glass door. In head head she continued but was obviously annoyed. The place had the best coffee in town and now they were closed for repairs. Just one more thing to add to her day.

There were very few things, Luke decided, more frustrating than your car breaking down first thing in the morning. Everything under the hood was so much more confusing before he was fully woken up. It didn’t help, either, that this was a fairly narrow street, and people had to swerve around the jalopy to get past him, often honking or flipping him the bird along the way.

He sighed as he heard footsteps and someone approached, standing beside him. “I know, I know, I’m blockin’ the road,” he grunted before the other person could get a word in. “Just gimme a sec to fix the damn thing, wouldja?”

Puppy || Rosie & Open

Rosie ran up into the diner with a squirming package under her shirt. This was a very very bad idea. But it was such a cute dog, and its owner had been horrible to it. It had gotten to the point Rosie just reacted without thinking, grabbing the poor animal from the park and away from the owner. She slumped down into a seat without thinking and ordered for herself and her new pet. Then she looked up startled when she realized someone was there, "Oh sorry, do you mind if we sit next to you?"
