And anyway, every single incarnation of Thundercats used styles that were popular in their times, the original was a He-Man ripoff that used the Action Figure style of the late 80s while the 2011 reboot used the Animesque style that was popular in the second half of the 2000s, and i bet it was bashed back then for being ‘gay animu weeaboo shit‘, Thundercats Roar is just continuing the same trend.

I never got interested in Thundercats, neither the original nor the 2011 reboot, but i seriously hope that Thundercats Roar pulls a Steven Universe and is revealed to be a deep, well-written show capable of dealing with mature themes while still having a humorous style...simply so i can bathe in the tears of the triggered nerdbros that are pissy because this one nostalgia-based reboot doesn’t cater to them and only them.

Okay, I’ll admit it. It’s been a guilty pleasure to watch the stream of salty, salty nerd tears that comes each time Undertale wins a bracket in the GameFAQs contest.
My personal favorite comment at the mo is the guy who’s complaining that “internet deviants” are turning it into a “popularity contest.”
Dude it literally already is a popularity contest. It’s a contest based on popular vote. What else could it be?
