Positivity: another AU i love

"The Catalyst's Tale" by nerdgirlwalking is a Medieval AU where Shaw is a special-ops knight and Root is a Mysterious Wanderer. It has sword fights and a dragon and rope bridges that get cut and drama and comedy and Cole gets written in as a super adorkable sidekick. I like this fic because it's plot-driven, funny, not even a tad cliche, and the sexy bits are like... icing on the cake instead of the whole cake, which makes them even sweeter. Yeah. Read this one.

For all the folks out there that are as sad/upset as I am about POI and Shoot right now, I recommend reading the “Swan” chapter of the lovely fic 12 Days by nerdgirlwalking. (I like all her shoot stuff very much & I’m thankful there’s a deep bench of Shoot fanfic writing talent out there. Thank you all.) It’s lighthearted and funny and won’t take long and might cheer you up a little. Cheers.
