huge fan of whenever u talk abt hannibal (all the time) and i wanna know ur opinions on abel gideon. i think hes talked about far too little for how interesting his character and interactions with the rest of the cast are
👆 i love gideon so much he commands every scene hes in & hes SO funny. i believe fuller wrote him in as an homage to hopkins' lecter & i can definitely see it cus hes immensely charming but in a more lets say approachable way than mads' hannibal is. like you see the way he interacts w other characters & you cant help but like him & then suddenly he starts talking about how he murdered his wife & children or makes chilton hold onto his own organs after playing operation with him & its like oh right this guy is like, for real insane. also getting kidnapped by hannibal & getting his leg amputated & saying "my compliments to the chef" after being basically forced to eat it is so iconic
